Creating better web page exhibits with Edge

Neither Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Chrome has ever been particularly good at capturing all of the detail on a web page. If you simply try to write the web page to a PDF, much information, particularly background images will be lost. So for example for a web page like this:


Chrome will generate a PDF like this if the option for background graphics is selected:


. . . and like this if this option is left unchecked:


Firefox will create a PDF that looks like this:


Microsoft's new Edge browser contains a 'web capture' option in the File menu.

This will give you the option to save the web page as a jpeg which will perfectly capture the look of the web page. Open the jpeg in MS Paint, and then use the scaling option under File . . . Page Setup to fit the jpeg on more than one page.
