Taking Screen Grabs with FireFox
Tonight's Tip of the Night was recommended to me by IT professional Marsha Harrison. As an alternative to the method using OneNote discussed in the Tip of the Night for May 16, 2018 , a FireFox web browser can be used to grab a portion of web page.
In the address bar click on the ellipsis at the right end. A menu will appear in which one of the options is 'Take a Screenshot'.
After this click, you'll see that by moving around your cursor you have the option to select specific images on a web page or click and drag whatever area you need.
After clicking on the 'Save' button on the lower right, a new tab will open with just the selected image.
You can then easily copy and paste it wherever you need it.
