Download and install this application, which does a good job of batch counting the number of pages in multiple PDFs: http://download.cnet.com/TTFA-PDF-Page-Counter/3000-2248_4-75967133.html
It gives the user the option to export the page totals for each PDF file to an Excel spreadsheet. Be sure to press CTRL + A before you click 'Export'. This program can count over 10,000 pages in a matter of seconds.
